SANJHICHHAT

Helicopter Service is available at Katra to reach the nearest Helipad (SanjiChhat). The Air Service is provided by Pawan Hans Helicopters and Deccan Airways. Pilgrims can book their Helicopter Tickets from the offices of Pawan Hans Helicopters or Deccan Airways using their Credit Cards/Internet Banking.

Pilgrims traveling by Helicopter are given VIP Passes for Darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi in Pavitra Gufa.

Fare Structure :

NOTE: If pilgrims take Helicopter Tickets from Internet Banking/Credits, they will have to show their Valid Identify Proof (Voter ID Card, Ration Card, Driving License, Passport or any other Government Proof). Without having Valid ID Card, pilgrims are not allowed to board in the Helicopter. Helicopter Ticket Holders are required to report at the Helipad before 30 Minutes of their Flight Timing.

TIMINGS OF HELICOPTERS (8.00 AM - 5.00 PM) ALL SEVEN DAYS

• The Helicopter Flights operate DAILY in keeping in view the environmental conditions.
• Flight Timings - helicopter services operate from 8 am to 6 pm between Katra and Sanjichhat heliports every 15 minutes.
• The flight from Katra to Vaishno Devi (or vice-versa) takes around five minutes
• The Helicopter can carry six passengers.
• SanjiChhat Helipad is 2 Km. from Bus Stand Katra at Udhampur Road. Auto-Rickshaws are available from Katra Bus Stand to reach the Helipad.
• Mata Vaishnodevi Bhawan is 2.5 Km. from Helipad Sanjichhat.
