Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir is located at Trikuta Hills, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, Maa Bhagwati. Maa Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Vaishnavi and is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess.

Maa Vaishno Devi Shrin is at an altitude of 5200 feet and a distance of approximately 13.5 kilometres (8.38851 miles) from Katra. Approximately 8 million pilgrims (yatris) visit the temple every year and it is the second most visited famous religious shrine in India, after Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board maintains the tasks to make the shrine. A Railway Link from Udhampur to Katra is also under construction for the pilgrims. The nearest airport to reach Katra is Jammu Airport.  A number of domestic flights are available from all airports in India to reach Jammu Airport.
